The boat can accommodate up to six people and life jackets are mandatory.
The parasail rider can choose to ride single, tandem, or side-by-side tandem (with another person). Tandem rides are discretionary to the captain of the boat. Safety is the first priority.
When parasailing, the rider is in a seated harness attached to the parachute. As the boat increases speed, the parachute slowly takes flight. When you are free of the platform, you no longer need to hold on to the harness.
The parasail ride lasts for 12-15 minutes. In addition, you get a free boat ride while others are up in the parasail.
The parasail rider leaves from a platform connected to the boat and lands back on the platform when the ride is finished.
The parasail rider can choose to briefly touch the water when the boat slows down.
The parasail rides take place in the soundside of Hatteras Island and are dependent upon the weather and wind conditions.
