Parasail

Our parasailing adventure takes place on the sound side of Hatteras Village. You will get to enjoy the spectacular views of Hatteras Village, while flying above the Pamlico Sound for 10-12 minutes.

When parasailing, the riders are put in a life vest and a harness that is attached to the parachute. Riders are then instructed to take a seated position on the platform. As the boat increases speed, the parachute slowly takes flight. Once you are off the platform, you no longer need to hold the harness. The riders can choose to stay dry during their ride or get dipped into the refreshing water from their waist down and return back up to the air. We encourage our riders to take the dip as it is both refreshing and fun! After 10-12 minutes in the air, parasailers return to the boat and land back on the platform in a standing position where the mate will be waiting to unclip the flyers from the parachute.

Parasailing is $80 per person. We offer $5 OFF Saturday mornings and all day Monday when you mention the “Sunny Day Guide” to the reservationist! Our boat is licensed to carry 6 passengers at once by the US Coast Guard. Observers are permitted on a space available basis. The charge for an observer is $20. Mates work for tips.

Due to rapidly changing fuel cost, prices are subject to change.

Our parachute can accommodate single, double and triple riding options. We are also able to accommodate the physically challenged. Allowing doubles and triples is at the discretion of the boat captain. Safety is our first priority. Parasailing along the shore of Hatteras Village is an unforgettable experience!
